This hackathon was an event organized by au Future Research Lab and Engadget to develop IoT (Internet of Things) gadgets. A total of six rounds were held, with the themes of “clothing”, “food”, and “shelter”. The intention was to invent the “Next Smartphone”. Each team used Yukai Engineering’s konashi (link to konashi) to develop a total of fifteen prototype IoT gadgets that worked together with smartphones.
Yukai Engineering was responsible for providing participants with konashi technical support and Mr. Aoki, CEO, was on hand to give advice and ideas to each team.
