 About Qoobo
Qoobo is a tailed therapy robot that comes in the shape of a pillow. It wags its tail differently, depending on how you stroke it. We tapped into our own robotics technologies to develop Qoobo to provide comfort to those who need it, including people who cannot live with pets.
Qoobo became one of the most talked-about gadgets both in Japan and elsewhere after it was unveiled in October 2017. Qoobo was released to the market in November 2018, at which time two color choices, Husky Gray and French Brown, were available. By November 2019, we had sold a cumulative total of more than 15,000 units of Qoobo, and added the new Silky Black color in response to requests from our Qoobo fans. Studies have shown the use of Qoobo provides positive psychological effects for seniors and can reduce stress in users in general. We are excited about Qoobo’s potential ability to serve as an animal therapy tool. Our new Petit Qoobo is expected to hit the market in November 2020.
