TOKYO (Nov. 9, 2018) — YUKAI Engineering Inc., a Tokyo-based robotic startup specializing in developing robots that add joy to life, and SECOM, Co., Ltd., Japan’s leading home security service provider, have announced that BOCCO, Yukai’s communications robot, will become an integral part of a senior care services that SECOME provides in a Suginami neighborhood of Tokyo. The collaboration is aimed to provide proof of concept for the use of the robot to improve quality of life for seniors.
