BOCCO Sensors Now ‘Talk’ to You

2017/12/12 News

YUKAI Engineering’s family communication robot, BOCCO, can now send verbal notifications to the users about what’s been detected by the sensors connected to the robot.

The notifications come in the form of pre-determined phrases. The users can create different phrases and assign them to various scenarios.

For example, you could program BOCCO to say, “Good night!” when the Room Sensor detects darkness below a certain level. There are currently three types of block sensors available for BOCCO: Room Sensor for luminous and humidity levels; Door Sensor for vibrations; Lock Sensor for locking and unlocking of the door/windows.
